Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026.
These terms govern your use of CargoDataHub and any data you purchase from us. By ordering, you agree to them.
1. The data
We provide aggregated trade-shipment datasets compiled from bill-of-lading and customs sources. We take reasonable care to keep the data accurate and current but provide it "as is", without warranty of completeness for any particular purpose. Coverage and field availability vary by country and period.
2. Licence & use
A purchase grants your organisation a non-exclusive licence to use the dataset for internal business purposes — research, sourcing, sales and analysis. You may not resell, publish, or redistribute the raw dataset as-is to third parties without written permission.
3. Pricing & payment
Prices shown on the site are in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Your bank or card issuer may convert the amount to your local currency at their rate. Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not receive or store your full card details. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout or on your invoice.
4. Delivery
Datasets are digital products delivered electronically as Excel / CSV after payment is confirmed — there is no physical shipment. Purchases are one-time, with no subscription. See our Delivery Policy for timing.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Because the products are downloadable data, orders are generally non-refundable once the data has been delivered. Cancellations before delivery and issues such as corrupt or materially-incorrect files are covered in full by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We also offer a free sample of any dataset so you can verify it before buying.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the data lawfully and in compliance with applicable data-protection and trade regulations, and not to use it for unlawful marketing or to harass any party named in the records.
7. Liability
The data is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, CargoDataHub is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the dataset in question.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at our registered place of business. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
